A nationally recognized trial attorney with more than 45 years of experience, Robert L. Parks is a highly respected advocate in the courtroom and a leader in the community. He focuses his practice on mass tort, aviation, wrongful death and product liability cases, representing plaintiffs in airline disasters in the Americas and around the world. He has been named one of the 'Best Lawyers of America' every year since its inception in 1983. Out of the estimated 30,000 'Best Lawyers of America,' only 1,397 have been consecutively named since 1983. Parks has also earned the distinction from his peers as a 'Top Lawyer' in the South Florida Legal Guide every year since 2003.

Parks' career highlights include product liability cases against major airlines, manufacturers and large pharmaceutical companies. He was Florida counsel in the antitrust class action suit against Microsoft. Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 1964, Parks has represented plaintiffs in hundreds of personal injury, wrongful death, aviation and automobile cases.

A consummate legal professional, Parks is Past President of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocacy, a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers, and a member of the American Law Institute. He also served as chair of the American Bar Association's Forum on Air & Space Law and was appointed by the Florida Bar to the Florida Supreme Court Commission of Professionalism. Parks is also a member of the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association, the International Society of Air Safety Investigators, and co-author of two chapters in Kreindler's Aviation Accident Law for Matthew Bender & Company, Inc., on "Military Accidents" and "Air Traffic Control Negligence."

Parks is dedicated to improving the South Florida community, serving for nearly 20 years for three governors in leading efforts to restore the Miami River culminating in serving as the first Chair of the Miami River Commission in 1998. He has also been appointed to the Governor's Commission on Property Rights, and Chaired the Environmental Regulation Commission for the State of Florida for eight years. He is on the Board of The Everglades Foundation reflecting his ongoing commitment to protect the environment. He is on the Board of Visitor's for The National Judicial College, the Dean's Advisory Board for Florida International University's College of Law, the Board of the Historical Association of South Florida, and he is currently Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee for the Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.

Born in Nassau, Bahamas, Parks is a long-time South Florida resident, who currently resides with his wife, Lyn, in Coconut Grove.

A sixth generation Florida attorney, Gabrielle Lyn D'Alemberte is an experienced trial attorney who has represented clients in more than two dozen jury trials. As a senior trial attorney, D'Alemberte focuses her practice on personal injury, product and premise liability, negligence, insurance, and class action lawsuits.

D'Alemberte graduated from the University of Denver's School of Law in Denver, Colorado in 1996 with a Juris Doctorate degree. She began her law career in the Florida Department of Business and Financial Regulation in Tallahassee under Secretary Charlie Crist, who later became the state's governor, and in the Attorney General's Office under Bob Butterworth, former Florida Attorney General. She worked in the private sector for The Hoppe Law Firm, for Simon & D'Alemberte and as corporate counsel to The Berman Group.

A leader in the state's legal profession, D'Alemberte served on the Florida Bar's Judicial Evaluation Committee, which focuses on reform in the judicial system, particularly merit retention. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Justice Association and its liaison to the Third District Court of Appeals. In addition, she is involved in the association's 2008 and 2010 election cycle advocacy program, lobbying in Tallahassee on caps in personal injury cases, access to courts and consumer protection laws, and other issues that affect the rights of Floridians.

A member of the Florida Bar, Southern, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida United States District Courts, D'Alemberte trained as a Victim-Offender Mediator by the Restorative Justice Center in Tallahassee and was a Certified County Court Mediator, State of Florida. She received the Florida Supreme Court Pro Bono Award for her work with the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee and was recognized by the Neighborhood Justice Center for her contributions as a volunteer mediator.

Her recent publications include Government Regulation of E-Business Web Sites: A Legal Perspective, Portland, July 2001; and Florida Procedures after Dissolution of Marriage, Chapter Seven, 5th Edition, 2000, CLE Publications.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, Litigation and Dispute Resolution Sections, American Judicature Society, American Association for Justice, Miami-Dade Justice Association, Florida Justice Association, Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Center for Constitutional Rights and the Junior League of Miami.

D'Alemberte is the daughter of Talbot "Sandy" D'Alemberte, former president of the American Bar Association and Florida State University. She currently resides in Coral Gables with her daughter, Willoughby.
